Arthur L. Jenkins

A native of Phildelphia, PA, Arthur took to writing to fill the void and share the stories of the African American, other people of color and LGBTQ+ communities.

A graduate of Widener University and Gywnedd Mercy University, Arthur brings to his writing over twenty years of lived-experince and skill to his readers to experience. .

1994

Graduated from Philadelphia High School of Creative & Perfoming Arts.

1994-1998

Attended Widener University, Chester, PA on scholarship.

2003

Publishes first book, “A Place Where I Lost My Jesus” under the pen name Arthur Prodigy.

2007

Attended Community College of Philadelphia for an Academic Writing Certificate.

2016

Moved cross-country to Phoenix, AZ.

2022

Returns to the Philadelphia, PA area and gets married.

2025

Becomes a graduate student at Gywnedd Mercy University for Mental Health Counseling.

Today

Began writing again and published three additional books and is growing his literary portfolio.
